Definitely. As shown in the linked documents, we have been working with many small publishers to compete against Hallmark, and we even offered them free exhibiting space in 2017 Atlanta Show. When we convert entire Hallmark stores to our control, we always encourage the store owners to leave at least 12 feet of space for alternative cards from other publishers. Many publishers such as “Blue Mountain Arts” and “Up with Paper” have also exhibited their products in our “CONNECTIONS” via their local reps. We deeply believe that stores need more than the greeting cards from us, and we will be greatly appreciated by them and benefit if we can find other good products which we do not supply for them.

Though we have not communicated our program with Faire as yet and cannot predict their response, Faire has been encouraging all vendors to use their “Faire Direct” links to save the commissions on Faire. In addition, we are also trying to bring more retailers which have not opened an account with Faire to Faire, and we believe Faire will like our idea. We have plans to forward copies of our emails to Faire, and we also have no problem for you to forward copies of our emails to Faire to seek their opinion.
-
It depends, take this retailer for example, we could have saved more than $6,000.- commission if the retailer had bought our products or used our “Faire Direct” link before Faire helped us get the 1st order from their market place. Please check Faire site for more details of their rules and regulations.

We hope so one day, but not yet.

Based on the past experience with our “CONNECTIONS”, if we can help our retailers find other good products with better discounts or terms, they will buy more greeting cards from us instead of our competitors/Hallmark. Up until now, excluding one Hallmark Gold Crown store and several “Hallmark” and “The Paper Store” corporate owned stores, we have successfully converted every small Hallmark independent retailer in NYC and Long Island to our control, and we believe our DBG program via Faire will help the expansion of our business nationwide.
